Everything you need to know before sending a project.

No. Portuguese is our primary working language, but we cover 14 language pairs in-house. Our core pairs are PT-EN, EN-PT, PT-ES, ES-PT, PT-FR, FR-PT, and PT-DE. For other combinations, we confirm availability and assign the appropriate specialist. We do not outsource language pairs we cannot manage with full quality control.

Translation converts text from one language to another. Localization adapts content for a specific market: date formats, currency, cultural references, legal disclaimers, address formats, and tone of voice. For marketing content, e-commerce, and digital products, localization is almost always what you actually need, not just translation. We advise on which applies at the briefing stage.

Subtitling is priced per video, with the final price depending on duration, number of language pairs, technical requirements (SRT, VTT, burned-in captions), and whether a timed or untimed transcript already exists. We quote per project after reviewing the source material. The minimum fee applies per video. Batch pricing for series or courses is available.

Portuguese clients are invoiced with IVA at 23% applied. EU clients with a valid VAT number use the intra-community reverse charge (0% VAT on the invoice). Non-EU clients are not subject to Portuguese IVA. All prices shown on this website are exclusive of IVA.

Yes. Certified translations recognised by Portuguese public bodies, courts, notaries, and consulates are available as an add-on or as part of the Empresarial package. For apostille-ready certified translations for international use, confirm requirements at briefing.

You receive an order confirmation email immediately. We send the project briefing form within one business day. Delivery begins once the brief is received and confirmed. If you prefer to discuss the scope before paying, contact us first; we are happy to quote before you commit.

Not as a default. Standard and Profissional packages are human-translated and human-reviewed. For high-volume projects where MT post-editing would be a cost-effective approach, we offer that separately at a clearly distinct price. We do not deliver MT as human translation.

For clients with regular or recurring translation needs, we work under a retainer or batch arrangement. This improves consistency, reduces briefing time per project, and ensures priority scheduling. Contact us to discuss ongoing rates if you anticipate more than 3-4 projects per year.
