Por que nascemos em Braga.

Translate Master has been based in Braga, in northern Portugal, since 2017. We translate literary, commercial, media, and digital content for European businesses and international organisations.

We started as a small two-person studio focused on Portuguese and English. Over seven years we expanded to 14 language pairs and six service lines, building the team around specialists who have backgrounds in the domains they translate.

Northern Portugal has a particular relationship with multilingual business. Braga and the Minho region have long-standing commercial connections to Spain, Brazil, and the Lusophone world. We translate that context into practical language work for businesses that need to cross those boundaries.

Our team includes literary translators with publishing track records, business translators from commercial backgrounds, and subtitlers who have worked in broadcast and streaming. We do not recruit generalists for specialist work.
